Overview
The Thanawiyyah (O’ Level) Program is a three-year intensive academic and technical training designed to provide students with advanced Islamic and Arabic knowledge, preparing them for leadership, teaching, and further studies. The program serves as the final stage in our pre-tertiary educational structure and is fully aligned with the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) curriculum.
At this level, students move beyond foundational learning to attain mastery of the core subjects in Islamic and Arabic sciences. Emphasis is placed on analytical reasoning, legal interpretation, language mastery, and academic research.
Programme Duration
Three academic years (six semesters), each academic year consists of two semesters of coursework and practical sessions.

Arabic is the main language of instruction across all subjects. English is also taught to ensure language balance and academic versatility.
Graduation Requirements
To be eligible for graduation from the Thanawiyyah program, students must:
- Successfully complete all core courses with a minimum average of 50%.
- Fulfill all financial and administrative obligations, including settling all outstanding fees, payment of graduation-related fees and acquisition of the graduation uniformed attire.
- Sit for and pass the NBAIS national examination in the final year. This is a mandatory condition for certification, and no student will be considered for graduation without fulfilling this national requirement.
Thanawiyyah Certification
Students graduating from the Thanawiyyah level are required to sit for the NBAIS National Examination, held biannually in June/July and November/December. Participation in this exam is mandatory for all final-year students.
Hostel Facilities
The Institute provides on-campus hostel accommodation for students who wish to reside within the learning environment. Hostel services are structured to support academic focus, discipline, and a communal Islamic lifestyle.
